sFlat stands for Semi-Flat. A profile for post-production flexibility, retaining D65 and D55 color science. It adjusts the gamma before the camera's last compression, delivering a flatter, easy to grade image.

Important Information
What do I need to know before buying these Picture Styles?

1. Make sure your camera allows custom picture styles to be loaded into it.

2. It is necessary to have a Canon USB cable. This allows you to connect your camera to a computer and load custom picture styles.

3. You have to install a compatible version of Canon EOS Utility on your computer, corresponding to your camera model, in order to load custom picture styles into your camera.

4. Picture styles do not affect RAW photos, but they do affect in-camera histogram reading.

5. Picture styles can be applied to RAW photos through Canon Digital Photo Professional (DPP) software in the "Tool Palette" window under the "Basic Adjustments" tab in the "Picture Style" drop-down menu by hitting "Browse".

6. Picture styles are applied in-camera to videos and JPEGs. Once a video or a JPEG is shot, the picture style that was selected cannot be altered in post-production. You can only make color and contrast adjustments on the image with the "baked" picture style.

7. These picture styles ONLY work in sRGB color space.

7a. In order to shoot JPEGs with our picture styles, your camera MUST be set to sRGB color space. Videos are, by default, in sRGB color space, unless your camera records uncompressed raw video.

7b. In order to apply picture styles to RAW images using Canon DPP software, you must select sRGB color space under the "Adjustment" tab, "Work color space".

8. If you already have a custom picture style loaded into your camera, keep in mind that it is not possible to export it to a computer. If you have a copy of it, you can overwrite it in your camera by loading a new one. Then, when desired, load it again. If you do not have a copy and plan to use it later, do not overwrite it.
